Prince William involved in Snowdon rescue

After 48 hours of announcing his engagement with Kate, Prince William went to rescue a walker with chest pains in North Wales. He was the pilot of the helicopter who went to rescue this man. The rescue was made by a four-man crew on board who went to help Greg Watkins who was stuck at 914 meters up Wales its highest peak. They winched Mr. Watkins onto the helicopter and took them to the hospital in Bangor. It is also said that this man suffered a heart attack and that is why they operated him. Mr Watkins was a gym worker of Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. He said that if it was not for this crew he should not be alive right know. He also told that he did not know that Prince William was flying the helicopter until they landed at the hospital. It was the winchman who whispered to him that Prince William was the person who had flown him there. Prince William was called out on the rescue mission within five hours of returning to RAF Valley. Six months earlier, William and Kate decided to rent a cottage on Anglesey, close to the RAF base.
Reaction: I am really impressed what Prince William did. He was supposed to be celebrating his engagement with his fiancĂ©, but instead of this he went to rescue a man. This action make you see that Prince William is a responsible person and that he will work no matter in which situation he is. His duty comes first.

  1. I completly agree with you and think that this action proves that he is a very responsable man and that his duty comes always first. He definitly has everything what a woman can ask in a man and I am convinced that prince William will be a good husband and also a good king.
